Super unsexy copy

It’s hard to imagine footwear less sexy than a ski boot.

Stilletos, they are not.

So when I read this:

“Looking for a narrow ski boot that steers like a Porsche? The Atomic Redster Pro 110 may just be the boot you have been looking for. From fit to function, the Redster is a full-package, aggressive all-mountain ski boot…”

Did someone say, aggressive ski boot?

Did someone say, steers like a Porsche?

“I didn’t know I was looking, but I am now!”

Off to the shop I went.

This buyer went from ...<not in the hunt for new ski boots>... to ...<having bought>... new boots, all because of some seriously grabby copy.

For footwear that is unparalleled in its un-sexiness.

You might think it’s hard to sexy-up accounting, but …

if Atomic can sexy-up two pounds of plastic and four aluminum buckles, surely the same can be done for accounting.

Copy gets grabby when it solves painful problems for clients in words that appeal.

When your website copy is littered with words that appeal, prospects may find themselves unable to resist.
